Haven’t played properly in 25+ years :-) Played a little
with my nieces over the last couple of years but really I should be considered
a brand-new player who is looking to learn the basics of the game all over
again. I’m a mature, intelligent guy with a good personality and
sense of humor. I’m looking for a group that is more likely to play on a
weekday night, maybe around 8 PM Eastern? I would like to be instructed and assisted in the basics of
the game again and perhaps in my character creation. I’m an imaginative guy and I used to DM. I do plan on reading
as much of the rules as I can but I feel like I am definitely going to need a
lot of help to get up to speed and to feel comfortable. I think I prefer campaigns that are a little more grounded
and I’m not overly fond of an abundance of magic and the super-strong. I like
the idea of getting deep into characters and backstories (I’m a writer). I’m open to mature content or can play with teenagers,
whatever is appropriate. I’m open to anything, really.
