Editing tokens from an existing pack

Hey all, I'm running Descent Into Avernus using the official Roll20 pack but there's a problem: Reya Mantlemorn is using a generic veteran token. She's explicitly a redhead woman and the token art is a black dude. Since she's such an important NPC I wanted to change her token to something that better-reflects the description, but I'm really struggling to figure out how. She's glued to the Veteran stat block so you can't change that image without changing all of them, and also I can't see a way to replicate the official borders using tokenstamp. Has anybody found a good way to do this?

You will need to create a character sheet for her if she doesn't actually have one. Probably rename the Veteran temporarily, drag another copy in and name it Reya, then rename the original back to Veteran. Then change Reya's token to be linked to the Reya sheet and edit away. Personally I use GIMP for putting borders on tokens, it's free. The UI takes a bit more wrangling than Photoshop but... it's free. No need to sail the high seas to get a copy. I would post the token border PNGs I have, but it probably isn't legal since I ripped them off purchased tokens. Send a PM if you need a hand with this bit.
The way i did it for a named NPC, for GoS game I am running, that just had the guys name and no art was this: Goggle appropriate picture Open Token Stamp (<a href="http://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/" rel="nofollow">http://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/</a>) Upload Token to Roll20 Drag it to VTT Change the green and red circles to represent hp and npc_ac Click token and change "represents" drop down menu to appropriate NPC Open NPC and delete token and save using existing. That seemed to work for me, and I dont think it has broken anything......

Here is a redhaired woman from my historical viking village token set. You can use her if you want for your game.

From the original thread : If you can view the art, call up the preview. I believe it is in a handout, so instead of using the "Z" preview key, just click on the magnifying glass. When the zoomed preview comes up, right click on the image and save to disk, or open it in a new tab and save that to disk. Then you have the original art with which to construct a token. Again, hopefully this will be fixed soon, but it should allow you to move on.
You can create a copy of the veteran, rename it to Reya and then set up the new token and default it to the sheet.
