Working in Sandbox translation.json no longer updating?

While working on a character sheet last night all was going well, until suddenly translation.json stopped updating when a new version was loaded. Even loading a translation.json file from a different character sheet does not reflect any changes. Changes to .html and .css are still reflected when the file is reuploaded. This situation persists this morning.  Thoughts on how to resolve

Did you try to create a new sandbox and test there, or another existing one you had? Narrowing it if it might be local to one sandbox of yours, or if it's wider would help with troubleshooting

I started at it again a couple of hours ago and everything was normal again.
