Corvus Belli Infinity the Roleplaying Game Discover Adventure in The Human Sphere and Beyond In the twisted jungles of Paradiso, humanity fights for its survival. The fierce, alien warriors of the Combined Army have poured through the Acheron Gate, descending upon the emerald jungles of the newest colonial world in a seemingly unstoppable torrent. The bestial Morat pound the Paradiso Front, where brave men and women fight ceaselessly to maintain a desperate defensive line which the sly Shasvastii penetrate with devastating ease. In the star-swept skies above, the collected might of humanity's armadas maintain a life-or-death blockade to cut off an endless horde of alien reinforcements. And if any of humanity's fractious forces should falter, then all may be lost... But beyond that terrifying holding action, the intrigues, and adventures of the Human Sphere spin on. Space pirates cruise through the shattered planetoid of Human Edge. Scientist adventurers delve the oceans of Varuna. Merchant guilds scheme amidst the scourging sands of Bourak. From Yutang, the Emperor gazes fourth from an uneasy throne. Titanic war machines stride across the icy plains of Svalarheima. Byzantine hypercorps struggle for dominance amidst the chrome towers of Neoterra. For the last ten years, players have tested their mettle upon the battlefields of the Human Sphere in Corvus Belli's hugely popular Infinity skirmish game. Now you can expand your adventures, diving deep into the amazing, never-before-seen depths of the Infinity universe with the ultimate science fiction roleplaying game. (Modiphius' Corvus Belli's Infinity the Roleplaying Game) Looking for Players both long term campaign or short term individual adventure(s) I am looking for new players interested in playing the Infinity 2d20 RPG . This specific campaign will be a “loosely based’ campaign. Players are not expected to play long term (though you can; I plan to run 3 adventures and a mini campaign in total for this campaign), and new players can join between adventure sessions/chapters. I only ask, players participating in the campaign have never played through any of the published adventures/Campaigns of Infinity as we will be going through different adventures and a specific (mini)campaign from published material. Players may have up to two active PCs (not including PCs that died) each. Each PC must be fully created with the GM within the campaign using only the Core Book (or Player’s Guide) for this Campaign . (I am new to running Infinity, thus I am limiting what materials I will be using as I run and learn the system. Restrictions of character and experience: Only one PC can be used during an adventure. If your PC dies you may be able to bring in another PC (assuming the new PC was created prior to the death) during the adventure. All Experience must be earned with the PC used in the adventure/campaign session(s). All PCs are created using only the Lifepath System. It is advised all new Players to Infinity RPG create only one PC as the creation system is lengthy and players will be expected to fill out the “fluff” prior to the PC being brought into an adventure/the campaign. This “Loose Campaign,”is a campaign where players can come and go between adentures. That is it is okay you play one adventure and then decide to pass on the other adventures. You could also decide to participate in all the adventures and the mini campaign. Each adventure will have a maximum of 6 participating players during any game session (players can reserve a spot after creating a character, as a show that you are not only interested in playing but have invested time in creating a character. PCs can join an already going adventure/the mini campaign so long as there is room. I ask each player participating in adventure complete the adventure. If you do not have enough time to commit for a single adventure which may take 2-6 sessions (depending on the action of the Players) to complete, I ask you to pass on playing. I will always announce within the campaign threads when we are starting a new adventure, so if you may have a more open schedule later, maybe you can still play in an adventure. In the Infinity Game each PC is an “agent” for Bureau Noir . Think of this organization as an intergalactic governmental agency that serves the interest of the entire Human Sphere. Unlike an agency whose ultimate interest is a single nation/government, Bureau Noir is more of a United Nations version of the FBI/CIA/MI5 (etc.) type of agency who is supposed to remain neutral to all the different Factions (read as nations) of the universe (the human populated governments spread throughout the known factions in the universe, while there are several aliens they are not official members of the Human Sphere). The “agents” (or PCs) are recruited from all over the Human Sphere. Most have had one or two (or more) previous jobs prior to becoming an agent of this O-12 (galactic version of a UN) agency. Agents are expected to cut all other loyalties besides O-12 and their agenda for keeping Peace and helping to Protect the Human Sphere and its people. Former loyalties are expected to be left. Rumors of some “rogue” agents who continued to hold loyalty to their previous factions do exist. Rogue agents caught holding such loyalties or acting in the interest of said faction are quickly mustered out (or worse, if caught performing duties against the desires/designs of the bureau and O-12). If your character holds a loyalty to another faction (note: while believed to be rare, it is actually more common than known within the Bureau), he/she/they have never been suspected of having external loyalties or they would not be an active member of Bureau Noir. If any agent, has other loyalties they have up to the point of actual participation in game, never been suspected or caught in any actions that would have cost them their agent status (nor in their history). This game uses what is called the “ Wilderness of Mirrors ” and it is likely that characters may hold loyalties to their current faction (outside of O-12, and will be a secret in game between the GM and individual player(s)). These agents will often have other “mission goals,” during an adventure. Actual Listing Link to Game: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/180358/diaries-of-human-sphere-agents
