When I'm in a roll20 game on my laptop my camera has a thick black bar on the left hand side. The other players don't see this, so I'm inclined to think this is a problem with my side of things. The other players do not have black bars next to them. While this doesn't seem to be a problem for the others, it makes it difficult to pantomine on my end. Other camera applications don't have this problem. This problem has popped up in the last few months, I don't remember exactly when.
