Transfer campaign to promoted GM

We have a campaign created by one individual where a player was promoted to GM to run the game. Unfortunately, promoting to GM doesn't seem to allow the promoted person to modify the campaign details, description, etc. Is there a way to fully transfer the ownership to the promoted person so that all of the forum posts, players, etc. is not lost as would happen for starting a new campaign. Thanks!

There is no way to do this. This has been intentionally not implemented to prevent copyrighted content from being freely shared between GMs.
OK, but that refers to in game content, not the details page and forums, right? Is there a way to give a promoted GM access to change the details page?

Sadly, no. Not at this time.

Thanks! About the only way to do what you want is to have the promoted GM start his own campaign board then copy and paste every bit of the info over to the new board then invite the players of the group to the new board. Most of us members wish it was different but the devs have very valid reasons so we have to work within their restrictions.
Thanks, for the input. For the forum posts (which are so valuable / funny / great I want to preserve)... Is there a way to copy and paste the info while maintaining poster attribution? I guess I could copy and paste the text using quote markups or something. I haven't looked too hard at the editor and it isn't obviously bbcode or wikicode or html or something I'm familiar with. Or maybe it is and I just haven't realized.

I'm not sure of anyway to copy paste that info while maintaining poster attribution offhand other than as you mentioned, the quote feature. I think they use the markdown syntax for some stuff but not sure about the threads.
if you just want to save the chat log in a local document, you can go to the details of your campaign and click the Chat Archive button. It will open the entire chat archive in a new browser window. You can then use whatever method you want to save it like any other webpage. (All browsers can save as HTM, but some can even save as PDF or other formats) Injecting those into a new campaign? Not possible.
