I don't know if I'm the only person who has a problem with this, but for things like the Journal and Jukebox especially it can be a bit cumbersome for organization when you start to get multiple characters and multiple playlists and all that. The way the current UI and folder/playlist structures are laid out it feels very clunky to me. Everything is big and blocky in the Jukebox with a lot of visual clutter. In the Journal having the only folder structure to be text folders with subheaders can very quickly become a nightmare for organization and again has no real visual queues, and is clunky when moving around and scrolling with files and characters that need to be moved around. For example I have multiple playlist with different ambient sounds and background noises and then ambient music or specific tracks for specific moments. And for that either in game or out of game, I have to go and scroll through my playlists, either minimizing one after the other until I get to the one I'm looking for with the track or whatever I'm searching for. And visually there's a lack of discrepancy between tracks and playlist titles. Then the waveforms I don't particularly need them open on every track at once in the Jukebox I think a scrubslider for just the tracks playing is enough. Even then for whatever reason most of the time the waveforms don't even appear loaded even if the track is playable so it's just a blank box below the track name. Then for Journal, having just a list form I don't really like. Moving things around and trying to put them into the right folder can be needlessly complicated, not that it's "hard" but that if I'm wasting moments trying to re-put something back in or trying to get it to align properly because it keeps wanting to go into the primary folder or the subfolder instead of the correct folder. It's just in my opinion a nuisance. Then the UI scaling in general I feel is off, but that can be subjective I know. But when opening these things onto the screen it again feels for me far to big the headings are larger than they need to be, and I've tried playing on a laptop with a smaller screen but that's something that feels cumbersome and annoying to do with the scaling of the UI compared to the screen realestate and trying to see the actual map while having character sheets open and all that. So, my suggestion would be to implement something more similar to windows file explorer or macOS file explorer. It's a system that most people are familiar with. Especially for Jukebox instead of having the playlists as they are now, having the ability to create windows like folders where and you're given a simple icon that you can adjust maybe something color coded with the name below it. Where you can scroll down and have a list of loose tracks that are folderless that can be easily dragged into folders and the folders can be double clicked to open. I think that would greatly help improve organization and reduce clutter. Something along those lines. Then with the added functionality of allowing tags to be edited and viewed with right click (and appear as small subfont underneath until edited) as well as for the track to be able to be deleted with right click. And the right click ability to add them to the game and so on. Or have the ability once opened to simply drag the track or folder into the game panel to have it added. As for the Icons it can just be color coded or have some little icons like we do with the token markers, in fact could just have the function to put our owned token markers and little icons for the folder. This way without much effort these things can be visually recognized at only a glance. And something similar could be done with the Journal. Having folders that are double clickable to open them as a box on the screen and then one left click to open them on the bottom portion of the screen displaying the characters and handouts within. Then as a sub improvement along the same lines as this, the little popups that these features are opened within, I think should have better scaling. Maybe some slider or general UI scaling options in the settings. Maybe could be just as simple as small/medium/large. To help this further. That way you're not stuck with the same size icons and lists that you can better customize it to your viewing distance as well as screen size. My opinion is that this is necessary for improved organization, as well as improved accessibility for those with different hardware, and methods of playing.
