Take 2. Trying to find a group.

Im slowly getting used to DND and some things. However I have yet to find a group that doesn't disappear after a few games. I'd prefer to stick to Dnd 5e or Pathfinder. Please, I'm fairly logic based as a player and fairly good at Rp. Im just trying to find a group that doesn't poof after less then half way into something. (Please no one shots)

I am looking for a few players, this is a long term campaign, taking PC's from 1st to 20th, and a possibility of running their children.  It is set in the Birthright where you not only adventure but build kingdoms. About me, I Have been DMing since 1st ed, and Birthright since it came out in 1995.  My last group on Roll 20 lasted 3 years but had to break up do to me contracting throat cancer.  After five years im back with a little bit of a voice and doing what i love.
