D&D 3.5e initiative Question

I'm just curious about the default macro on the character sheet, why is it dividing the initiative value by 10 giving the result a decimal point value. Just curious to why this is.

It might be doing that as a way to show the initiative mod.
Ah, that makes sense, to break ties and such, didn't think of that.

That's exactly what it is doing. And exactly why. Because it seems to come up more often than it should in my group.
