I'm trying to make my tokens appear on the map already sized correctly when dragged over from the Journal, so that the Large character appears 2x2 when dragged onto the map, and I've got a torch token that should be 1x1 squares but keeps defaulting to 0.25 x 0.25. Trying to make a fireball token to drag in at 40 feet diameter, but it always defaults to 1 square! I've searched the forums, google, and youtube, followed the advice, not sure where I'm going wrong. I've dragged the desired artwork onto the token layer, resized it to the desired size (I've tried using Set Dimensions in both pixels and in units, and also by using the drag bars, all these options do resize the current token, so so far so good). I create a new character sheet, make it an NPC (also tried not defining whether it is an NPC) and when everything is set the way I want it, I click the correctly sized token on the token layer and set the character sheet's Default Token (Optional) to the correctly sized token. Save. I've also gone into the Edit Token settings and set Represents Token to the name of the character sheet. (I've also tried leaving it as None, but neither tactic has worked). Making the correctly sized token the Default Token does carry over all its other settings, so it is definitely assigning that token to the character sheet. Yet every time I drag a new instance of that "character sheet" onto the map, it defaults to a tiny size, and I have to resize it again. So frustrating! I just want my Large character to be Large when I drag it onto the map. I just want my torch token to always fill a 5' square when dragged from the Journal onto the map. I just want my fireball token to always drag into the screen at 40 feet diameter. What am I doing wrong?
