One Shot Pathfinder - Sat March 16th

Looking for 4 players for a one shot campaign. I'm in Mountain Time zone, and am fine with running the game any time after Noon. lvl 1 characters, standard starting gold and gear 2 traits no evil characters core races only core and base classes brief backstory about why your new character is in a remote logging town (mostly human population) Post character link and what time you'd like to play. New players welcome.

Well, I haven't played much D&D but I've always wanted to play more! I'd be down to join!

And the D&D I've played is 3.5 so it's pretty much the same as Pathfinder, and I have the core rulebook.

I'm totally down, is half-Orc allowed cause I'd totally play a barbarian.

I would love to join this game if there is still room, I'm unsure what you mean when ask for a link to my character. How would you like us to do stats? edit: sorry I'm a bit new to roll20. edit2(for clarity): what i mean by that is do you want us to use a 3rd party character creator and link the finish character or is there some sort of functionality in roll20 that allows us to make a character and link it.

I am EST so I am not sure what that is on Mountain time. May I play this character? I know she is a child but I love roleplaying and character development. Whatever penalties and limitations you impose on her I will of course accept but I would like to play her as is. The background explains everything. Jessica Darkwood(Child Evoker)

I don't think evoker is a pathfinder class Neil. I could be wrong.

Ya, that's a 3.5 character. Not gonna work. The setting will be in Golarion too, so Pelor's also out. And if you want to play a child, your backstory better have a good explanation, not only why a child is out adventuring, but why any sane adventurer would trust a child enough to put their life in her hands and travel with her. Here's the Pathfinder template rules for a child: Size decrease by one category; AC reduce natural armor by –2 (minimum +0); Attacks decrease damage dice by 1 step; Ability Scores –4 Strength , –4 Con , +4 size bonus to Dex .

Neil is playing a wizard and his school is evocation that is why his class is written "Evoker", it is a core pathfinder wizard, fyi. The child bit is odd though.

What will the Campaign's title be?

Ah, I see that now. There is a 3.5 class called evoker. That plus the fact that he has Pelor listed as his character's deity is what had me thinking 3.5 I see now that the traits are from Pathfinder though.

@Neil - why would the simple, closed minded, back-woods people of Falcon Hollow look at young Jessica and say "yes, this is just the person we've been looking for to solve our problems. Clearly a better candidate than any of our burly lumberjacks to go traipsing through the woods and fighting vile monsters"? Your backstory certainly makes a case for her being a clever young cookie, but why is her "will to live" driving her to risk her neck for this town she's only just discovered, rather than try to find some kind of home? Why is the need to be nurtured absent, and the need to be a hero so strong in the tragedy filled life of this little orphan girl?

Ok, since I'm new, I have a few questions. 1) - Is standard gear just what you can buy with the starting gold, aka backpack, weapons, armor, etc. 2) - Where can I find traits? 3) - Where can I find Deities?

Question for Blaeringr, there is an optional trait for elves that would replace Elven Magic called Woodcraft on the Elves page. With the backstory of my character, would you be ok with me taking that? It's fine if you aren't.
