Edge of the Empire - Let's get a campaign together

Hello everyone, I have been learning the ropes of Edge of the Empire and want to get a group together to play on a weekly basis. Right now, I would prefer Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I am based in California, so I would be available anytime after 6PM on those days. Ideally, we can get a maximum of five people (including the GM). I am more than happy to share the GM duties (but would prefer it be two separate campaigns) down the road after I feel confident in my abilities to know the system. I have quite a few plot ideas already fleshed out, but feel the need to understand the mechanics better than I do. I am a life-long gamer in my mid-40s, I really prefer to play with mature players. I don't particularity get along with or put up with bullies. I love to have a good time and love a good joke. I am serious about finding a long-term group to play with. I would prefer if we got to know each other before the group is chosen. Lastly, if you are the kind of player who would rather make things difficult than find a solution, or wander off, or are just plain flaky and can't make it most weeks, it's best not to respond. I have time to pull this together, so I don't really expect things to kick off right away (but I hope it does). The game will be run on Google Hangouts, use the Roll20 app, the EotE dice app and whatever else we need to make it fun and easy for everyone. Let me know if you are interested and if I sound like someone you could get along with. I know I can sound like a jerk, but I just am tired of false-starts and people with ego problems. I want to have an awesome game that you will always remember. The hard part will be finding a quality GM to get things rolling. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hi everyone, Bringing this up again. I would really love to get a regular group together. As noted, if someone is willing to start a campaign and get it going for a while, I will happily pick up a second campaign as the GM. It can even be another system. Let me know if you are interested in either being a player or a GM. However, the GM part is critical until I get the time to work on a campaign and knock the rust off of my GM-ing skills.

My girlfriend and I would LOVE to join as players. I myself just wrapped up my last game which was a combination of both EotE and AoR (using the beta for that) with an imperial twist. I was sad to see it end, but I had a set amount of story from the get go. Anyways, back on topic, we would love to join and I'd be happy to work with whomever ends up GMing to try and get them a little bit more familiar with the system. There are a TON of resources out there, it's just using them to create the campaign that you want. We both have vast amounts of experience in the system and are just looking for other people to enjoy the Star Wars universe with.

If you're still looking for players I'd love to join, done a couple runs of the beginner adventure but haven't had the chance to keep going with EotE as so far no one has taken it further than that learning adventure. Having only that couple runs under my belt I'm still pretty new to it, but would love to join and learn with you guys if there's room.
