Setting info. Hi everyone, my name is Mario and I'm a 5 year old D&D 5E DM/Player. The campaign im planing now (Even though it is a bit in a rush creating the listing, but the world is done as i have been planing this campaign for over a year but my irl friends are pathfinder oriented) is a mix between the tv show agents of shield, game xcom and movie pacific rim. In the year 2025 the higgs boson was discovered and then 20 years later technology evolved, landscapes were destroyed, leaving alien life, sentient machinery and raiders scattered across the world. The players would play a special squad that intervenes in dangerous rifts, technology and serves as the sentinels that protect the world from those events, at the same time develop new technology, use gathered info and tech for there own purpose and ever expand. (And yes, the game would be on Earth, just a bit in the future). The games would be more episodic in nature where serveral sessions would serve as one hook, then after that some new thing comes. Characters The character creation is preety basic, 4d6, drop lowest, though if you get 6 times a score of 8, il allow reroll's, dont want you playing something you hate. Even though there are alien races, if you do decide to play as one of them, just go over with me on them as i will need to explain how i perviced them in my world and settle that with you. One notable thing in the ultramodern book, there are no archtypes, you take what you like in the book. Style of running the game. I like to run on the rule of cool, if it sounds logical i will allow it, if not i wont, end of story. What i DON'T want/wont do in a game is over-sexualise things or describe scenes of torture (it all fades to black for me). Don't attack other players (unless mind control is in effect) or instult them. We are here to have fun and all deserve a spot in the spotlight and have fun when you roll a nat 20 or laugh when you get a nat 1. It's a game and we should treat it as one.
