Managing statuses for monsters - Pathfinder 2e - Using Roll20 purchased content

Hi guys and gals, hoping you can help, have searched for ages on a solution but not seeing what I need. New to the game but have been running Fall Of Plaguestone for a few weeks now. I purchased the module from Roll20 which has mostly been great. All monsters with character sheets etc. One thing I'm really struggling with in-game is managing status effects when my monsters are hit. My PCs are using HeroLab Online for their characters which has the 'add condition' boxes so really easy as the dice rolls are automatically updated. Wondering if I'm missing something or if someone has some advice on how best to manage? For example, if my monster gets Enfeebled 2, is there a way I can do something in the character sheet to make this also automatically update the in-app dice rolls? Similar to how HeroLab does it? I know I can use the icons to mark tokens, but these have no actual effect on the numbers. Finding it hard to track it all, in battle, with lots going on. HeroLab said their GM content for modules is not ready for a while either. TL;DR Is there a way I can update a monster character sheet with status effects so that the dice rolls update automatically? Final one - looking at running Extinction Curse after this - any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Oosh
Sheet Author
API Scripter
To change any Attributes at all via macro, you will need a Pro account for API access. If you're not interested in Pro, you can probably stop reading now - you can't do it :) I don't know if anything is available off-the-shelf to automatically apply any condition to a PC/NPC's combat rolls - this is pretty complicated, since many tokens could be linked to the same sheet. Applying a new piece of math via an Attribute change would affect all tokens linked to that sheet. There are scripts available which will apply a token marker for you, and automatically whisper you (GM) each time that creature has a turn in combat with its current status/conditions, and what the buff/debuff is. The Turn Tracker is generally used for this as it's linked to token_id rather than character sheet, and can also track the duration for you. Actually applying this to do the math automatically is another matter - I'd recommend posting in the API section and seeing if anyone has set this kind of thing up for PF... I'd guess that it's fiendishly difficult to try to completely automate though, even for one game. If tracking the status via GM messages & Turn Tracker is good enough for you, those scripts definitely exist - no idea how much set up you'd have to do though. One of the API wizards should be able to help you get an idea of that.
Thanks for coming back to me. Think I'm only on Pro. Kind of what I expected tbh, hopefully HLab pull their finger out for getting monsters from APs put in to the system... would be so much easier! Cheers though, appreciate the answer. Cheers
