Saving Throws Not Adding Any Modifiers

1592937261

None of my saving throws (not including death saving throws) on the D&D 5E by Roll20 template add in any modifiers. The numbers I see change, but when I roll, it's a flat 1d20 for all rolls. I have tried checking boxes and unchecking them to add/remove proficiency; I have gone into the settings and changed the numbers in the save options box and added modifiers to specific saves as well as the global save option; I have gone into attributes & abilities and changed the modifiers directly; I've done everything I can think of. No matter what, the roll is a 1d20. I have spent a lot of time searching the forum and articles for help or a report of this bug but not seeing anything. I have a very hard time believing it's anything I'm doing wrong since I've tried to rule out all human error. All my other rolls work fine. If I add bless, the saving throw will add a 1d4 automatically, but not any other mods or proficiency bonuses to it like it's supposed to. I'm assuming this is a bug at this point, but open to other thoughts.
Same here, most players have 0, except 1 for which it still works.
I've also realized all the sheets on my campaign, both recently made npcs and old ones have this issue as well. Bonuses like bless are added but the base saves from stats are all treated as 0.

EDIT: After cross-posting, I see it is affecting other people, too. Maybe something else is amiss on a larger scale... Weird. After rolling, click in your chat window (where you would normally type stuff) and press the UP arrow to call up the macro code that the sheet just used. Does it look like it is trying to pull in modifiers? Here is an example DEX save generated by the 5e sheet for a dummy character. It is working fine for me. Does yours look anything like this? @{Druid|wtype}&{template:simple} {{rname=^{dexterity-save-u}}} {{mod=@{Druid|dexterity_save_bonus}}} {{r1=[[@{Druid|d20}+@{Druid|dexterity_save_bonus}@{Druid|pbd_safe}]]}} @{Druid|rtype}+@{Druid|dexterity_save_bonus}@{Druid|pbd_safe}]]}} {{global=@{Druid|global_save_mod}}} @{Druid|charname_output} Did it ever work? Is it only that one character, or does it work for a different character? If you create a new game based on the same sheet and add a character, does it work properly? If so, it may have gotten corrupted in which case I'm not sure what your options would be. Maybe CS may be able to pull a copy from a time when it was working?

Just checked, and all it shows is this for the save: @{Alexander Caprico|wisdom_save_roll} Whilst an attack roll tested comes up correct like this: @{Umber|wtype}&{template:atk} {{mod=+10}} {{rname=[Irilanni](~-LbMP7rvh93Cgkc38Nks|repeating_attack_-LS90vY5pHyDrRHf2mLX_attack_dmg)}} {{rnamec=[Irilanni](~-LbMP7rvh93Cgkc38Nks|repeating_attack_-LS90vY5pHyDrRHf2mLX_attack_crit)}} {{r1=[[@{Umber|d20}cs>20 + 5[DEX] + 1[MOD] + 4[PROF]]]}} @{Umber|rtype}cs>20 + 5[DEX] + 1[MOD] + 4[PROF]]]}} {{range=}} {{desc=Extra Attack, Molten Burst, Parrying}} {{spelllevel=}} {{innate=}} {{globalattack=@{Umber|global_attack_mod}}} ammo= @{Umber|charname_output} Its effected a wide spread of characters in it. Doesn't look like any of the sheets are having functioning saves atm. Its all campaigns using the sheet as well. Just checked my other 5th ed campaigns using it.
Nope, I get the same thing that Maluku and Joshua get.
same, @{Gabriel|wisdom_save_roll}

If you're not keen on using your own macros, this fix is probably the easiest, just requires editing 6 Attributes. The Saving Throw & Skill Rolls have been changed and the Save is either calling the wrong Attribute, or they forgot to calculate a value for the one they now want to use. It might need to be undone later when they fix the sheet. But if you're trying to play now & want to roll straight from the sheet it should work.

Ugh, let's hope that char sheet update gets rolled back or straightened out soon. In case mine starts acting up before my game on Sunday, thanks for posting an easy workaround, Oosh!

No worries - glad it didn't happen while I was mid-game, a few beers down and I probably wouldn't have noticed!

Ha!
Yep it went wrong for my session today as well.
Same here for TOA game 5e sheet. No saving throw modifiers added. Skills , weapons all work fine. I checked an older copy ( we switched over a week ago so we could have a new players map) and those sheets all work fine.
