Compendium sharing no longer allowed?

I used to be able to share my compendium content with my players, but that seems to no longer be allowed? I have empty sharing slots, but if I try to click on them, the mouse cursor turns into a red circle with a line through it? I tried un-sharing a couple of my older games, but I am not allowed to re-share with those games either... Searching this forum reveals several posts by people with the exact same issue, but none of them have solutions or any indication the problem was resolved.

Do you have a compendium chosen for that game? Are you the creator of the game? I assume this is a sharing slot for a game other than "Tyranny of Dragons"? Can you link some of the other threads you found? It would be helpful to see other reports.

Beyond what Keith said, itmight be useful if you can show us a video/gif of this "the mouse cursor turns into a red circle with a line through it" situation. If you're on Windows , Giffing Tool is supposed to be a simple tool to capture short gif snippets of what happens on your screen. If you're on Linux , I can personally recommend Peek , I use it pretty often to create short & small screen captures on my computer to show others. In this recent comment I showed a few gifs I made to show a Roll20 bug behaviour. There are probably several good options for Mac-users as well.

Hi, WormSlayer! What I'm seeing is that, if you have shared your compendium in a campaign that isn't the one you're looking at, you can hover over it and it turns red with an X to remove sharing from that game. That's so it's easy to free up a sharing slot if needed. Hovering over the "compendium sharing slot available" gives the red strike-circle. That's because those empty slots don't have any actions you can perform on them. To add sharing to a game, you go to that game's settings, click "Yes" under "Share my compendium with players" and then scroll down to the "Save Compendium Settings" button, which is below the compendium expansion selector that shows all the expansions: If you instead scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes," the compendium settings won't change. This is a known issue for now. Edit to add: If that doesn't solve your issue, or if something else is going on, please comment back or hop over to the Help Center to open a ticket.
Thanks Stephanie, it was indeed me failing to use the correct save button... XD
