Activate rolls and macros from Handout.

Hi, My intention is to centralize GM actions in handouts. Like activate a macro I created from the handout. Or send a roll in the chat. Is this possible ? Exemple 1: I will ask for a perception check vs stealth check. I's like to prepare a ready to roll Perception Check +1, from the handout. Right now, I am prerolling it, but I really enjoy not knowing some GM rolls until the very moment... Exemple 2: I created a random NPC generator macro. In my handout, I mention if players go X, they will be greeted by a merchant (throw Random NPC).Can I prepare a link to activate my macro from my handout ? Warm Thanks L.Y.E.

You can do that - the instructions are here (but I found them a bit confusing): https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Journal_Command_Buttons So here's a screenshot. Open the Handout, click the Edit button and scroll down to the Note or GMnotes section. Click where you want the link to appear, and click the Insert Link button (bottom right in this screenshot). The Insert Link form opens. IInsert the call to the macro in the bottom field here, but make sure you put a backtick at the start, before the macro call. A backtick is usually found at the top left of your keyboard, the left of the 1 key.
OMG GiGs! Thanks, this is exactly what I needed to fasten my gameplay. Until my next challenge, I wish you the best L.Y.E.
