Test your mettle upon the flames of Hell!! The adventure begins in the iconic city of Baldur's Gate (anyone else excited for Baldur's Gate 3?). While the early levels will be spent crossing blades in the Gate, our heroes will eventually find their way to the blasted lands of Avernus. Will they lose their soul to a devil's bargain? Perish on salt flats made from the tears of the damned? Will they ride infernal war machines to victory over hordes of devils and demon on a sea bones? Even if they are victorious, can they escape? Will they ever be the same? Let's find out. About Me My name is Chris, but feel free to call me Rogue on Discord. I've been a DM for over 20 years. I started playing D&D with second edition, and I have been enjoying 5th edition since it's release. I like a good mix of role play and combat. I enjoy doing voices, but I'm by no means a trained voice actor. Player agency is very important to me, and that includes choice. Even though we are using a module, if the group wants to make a hard right turn off module then I will run with it. I don't usually do paid games, but times are tough, and a bit of extra money would really help right now. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $8 per person for a four-hour session made through PayPal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Why Pay for a DM? Finding a good DM can be quite challenging. Here's what I will provide: - Reliability. I will not miss a session unless there is an emergency, and I will make myself available to you as much possible. - Knowledge of the module and the rules of 5E. - Experience - Acceptance. Everyone should feel welcome regardless of race, creed, or gender. - Fairness - Roll20 Pro features - Music. - Preparation. Being compensated allows me to spend extra time making sure I'm as prepared as possible to run your game. Character Creation You'll be creating a 1st level character. Roll 4d6 and drop the lowest dice when everyone can see OR take this array: 16, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8 No races with a fly speed. When applying, tell me about your role playing experience and what kind of character(s) you are interested in playing. See you in Hell :)
