Retain (or allow save) of open journal items and position on screen between game sessions or reconnects

When in a game (mostly as a GM, but also as a player), and I have journal entries open, if anything happens to force me to have to reload the browser tab or reconnect the game, everything that I had open closes.  This is very frustrating if I have a lot going on in a game. What would be fantastic is to be able to come back into a game after closing it (either to reload, reconnect, or between sessions) and have everything back where I left it.  So, for instance, I could have my XP tracker entry open, the current dungeon guide open, links to common journals open, etc. and the system would save the screen state so the next time I open the game, everything is open again and sitting where it was on the screen.  If the screen size changes (I open it on a different device), it would need to adjust to push items onto the screen.  This would be like how opening the game now works with regards to tokens - it knows where all of the tokens are already on the page. Thanks!
