For this holiday I will be trying to run to separate L5R 1st edition adventure. The adventure is about the Topaz Championship, which is an annual tournament held where the Clans gather some of their most promising young adults, who have yet to perform their Gempukku, to participate in a tournament/gempukku test. It is considered a great honor and very prestigious for those who participate and successfully perform their gempukku as well as compete in different areas to prove who is the best within different fields. The adventure was designed for new players (and gm's really) that teaches people both how the game is played in a fun way. I will try my best to complete the adventure in one adventure (or get as far as we can; as both the Saturday and Sunday session are to separate adventures they are not connected, and if you participate in one, you really don't have to participate in the other, though you are free to do so if you wish). Both of these games are going to be played during my normal 11 am Pacific (2 pm Eastern; UTC -8) and runs for 4 hours. (next time I do a one shot I will run a 7th Sea game an introductory adventure like the Legends of the Five Rings game. I just don't have everything set up for the 7th Sea one at this time.) There is no obligation to participate and players that normal do not play may be decide to participate in this one shot. This one shot is not a campaign it is just a one shot, though you could feasibly use the same character later if I ever do another one shot of that particular game (or even use the character in a future campaign I run if you like.)
