Hello! I'm Bax. I'm looking to do some 5e D&D sessions for single players or pairs of players for possible tips. List of sections below: Requirements About Sessions Pros and Cons Scheduling Tips? About Me Contact Requirements: We will be using discord for chat/voice-chat. We will use Roll20 for gameplay. If you have a decent camera and want to play so we can see each other, that is a possibility. Please have a good mic. About Sessions: First session will be a "Session 0+" where we create your character, get to know some stuff about them, and then move into some sort of RP. Sessions will be based out of the Sword Coast, but in a homebrew area so that I can borrow places and things and people. The first session is to feel each other out. If you like the session, we can set up another session for later (see scheduling). My preferred area to land people in is a large town/small city so that there are plenty of options for downtime things with enough people for secrets to be easy to keep. There is always the possibility of combat, dungeons, and dragons... so keep that in mind. Please take into consideration: Even though your characters are the stars of the show, there are still laws in place, your character can still make mistakes (possibly even die), and remember that small group sessions like this depend very heavily on character exploration and decisions. Pros and Cons: Pros: You are the star of the show. Your decisions lead to direct action. Possibilities of what could happen are almost endless. Stretches your creativity and problem solving. Creates a strong interdependent story telling experience. Ideal for character depth and exploration of self. A great test area for character ideas/builds. Cons: The story telling is mutual. I develop based on your decisions and actions, so the story telling becomes very interdependent. You MUST role play. There are fewer people to bounce ideas off of, so this will stretch your creativity and problem solving. Scheduling: I'm a teacher, so my schedule is fairly free during the summer. I cannot do Thursday, Sunday, Monday evenings AFTER 6CT. Any other time, unless I schedule something personal, is free.I can do sessions in the morning, afternoon, and evening as long as it is arranged beforehand. Tips?: I'm saving up money for a weird thing I'm doing later in the year, so I thought opening up a session to tips might be an interesting way of moving forward. Basically, it comes down to... "if you like the service, please tip your service provider." If you had a good time, consider leaving a tip. It is not a requirement, just an option. Tips will be done through venmo. Please note that Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. About Me: I've been playing 5E since shortly after it came out. I spent most of that time as a player, but in the last couple of years, I've taken up the role of GM. I've run modules like LMoP and WaterdeepDH and mixed in quite a bit of homebrew material. In real life, I'm an English teacher. I've taught 9th-12th grade, and soon I'll be doing some wild stuff that I haven't tried before... I'm keeping that bit to myself for now though. I am LGBTQ+ friendly if that is something you needed to know. Contact: If everything above sounds cool please shoot me a DM of you can comment here, and I'll shoot you a DM. Please let me know up front if you are wanting to do a 1on1 or a 2on1 session. If you have any questions or if you need more information, please shoot me a message or ask the clarifying question below!
