It would be cool if the horizontal scroll bar on the dropdown page toolbar, would scroll side to side with the mouse wheel. This would make navigating the list easier when there are a lot of pages.

Shift+Scroll wheel should work for horizontal scroll on most browsers.

Sadly, not in Firefox. Shift+mousewheel is bound to history back/forward in it. (and in newer versions, lacks configurability in about:config, it can onyl be vertical, history, or zoom)
