Drow Magic on Character Sheet

I've got a player running a Drow Character in my adventure. I've got the PHB and I'm trying to build their character for them. They've just advanced to level 3 but Faerie Fire hasn't been added to their list of spells or anywhere else that I can find it, even though it should have done because of their Drow Magic. Am I missing something? Is there a trick to enabling this? thanks.

You can pull the Faerie Fire from the compendium onto their character sheet.

You can also edit the spell to include the number of innate uses per day (assuming the official 5e sheet by Roll20):

Does the Innate  setting do anything, or is it just for display purposes?

It's possible some 5E APIs that manage spellslots/resources(D&D 5E by Roll20 Companion?, Combat Master? ) might account for it when they decide to subtract spellslots when used. And if an API don't do it, it could be changed to do so by checking the "Innate" stat.

You'll get a nice visual suffix on the spell list to know that it is an innate ability, also, if you have the D&D 5E by Roll20 Companion API script installed it won't count the spell as using a spell slot when cast (as Andreas rightly surmised).
You could put it in the resources section as well and keep track there for the three uses.
Thanks for the help everyone, I'll have a look at which of these work.
