Status Conditions Roll20

So we've been struggling with the Roll20 status icons for a while now, and finding them to be really unhelpful. Is there any way I can manually change it to be like the status rings as sold on etsy for D&D? Where you have a coloured border around the character tokens with the word of the status to the side? Also, why are the default Roll20 ones so unhelpful? Can they just be updated sometime?

There are API to do what you are asking with adding them as "borders". The API TokenCondition I believe it is called is one.  As for the default ones, I used them for a long time and found them helpful. Limited in some cases but not unhelpful. As they are the default this is most likely why it has not been added to. 

You can also add your own token markers , ones that you might find more useful :)

There's a Roll20 sub on Reddit that actually has a couple of posts which provide some improved markers you can add to your games. I like them better than the standard ones, and it's not too complicated to install them. Good luck! M

Easiest would just be installing a nice set from the Marketplace . They are ready to go and don't count against your storage space.
