LF Players for MLP Savage Worlds Game, Starts July on Sundays 2 pm EST

WHEN This game is set to start in July, a month from this post. It will run weekly, Sunday from 2 pm to roughly 6 pm EST ABOUT ME I've been a DM/GM/Storyteller for over 10 years, this is my first time using Roll20 but I have played in a Roll20 game and like it. I've been working with the Savage Worlds system for about 2 years. ABOUT THE GAME Since I've DMed so long, I've decided to take a challenge: Can one make a serious, interesting plot and character driven world using the My Little Pony setting? For information I've created a completely searchable game website with promotional video at <a href="http://www.hollowshades.com" rel="nofollow">www.hollowshades.com</a> OTHER STUFF I was once a newbie myself, we're very new player friendly and a down to earth group that focuses more on story and character development than 'beer and pretzel gaming'. You can read more about my style on my bio if you're interested. We'll be using the free The Savage World of My Little Pony supplement which does refer to the Savage World Deluxe system occasionally. There are some unique non-combat options in this book as well as thematic developments that play into the world nicely.

Yes it IS indeed possible. My first Roll20 game was a D&D 3.5-4e game based on MLP. We played in the time right before Luna became Nightmare Moon. The story was well put together, and the play was serious and potentially deadly. It's all about the tone the DM sets, and the players respond to.

Thank you to all the people who gave positive responses. I know some people have a bad taste in their mouths when they see MLP and I respect it. (One of my friends and usual players opted out because of the theme, I hold no grudge against them for it.) A MLP based game won't be for everyone, but then again neither is Call of Cthulhu or Hackmaster for everyone. As Lauren Faust has said, she created MLP:FIM to challenge the stereotype that anything 'for girls' was innately worthless, childish, immature and lesser. That is a vision I would love to represent in my Hollow Shades game. I appreciate that most of the responses have been positive and respectful!

I'd love to play, but I have other games on Sundays... hope it goes well.

I'm afraid this actually looks a little too dark for my tastes, but I just wanted to say that it looks awesome, and extremely well done. Kudos!

Gotta say if nothing else this is one of the more impressive campaign postings I've seen from a promotional standpoint. I don't know a thing about MLP though.

I want to play this so hard.
