CLOSED FOR NOW Hello potential GM's and DM's! I'm putting together a group of folks who are a bit older, like myself. I'm around 40, right now the group ranges from 29 to mid-40's. We're seeking a GM/DM in a similar age range to run a campaign. Probably start off with something short, with potential to become a long term thing if everyone wishes to. As far as the game itself, we're looking for something with lots of magic in it (think Harry Potter, not LOTR), with a focus on role playing, story telling, puzzles and creativity. There can still be combat but it's much more about the RP than the battles. Strong preference to DM's who do voices and have lots of interesting NPCs and world-building. Leaning heavily towards homebrew but core DnD could work as well, that's really up to you! Personally I have about three years of steady experience with playing DnD online and in person, as well as currently running a game myself for the past 6 months or so. Some others in the group are a bit more new to the game but I'm happy to help teach and get them caught up, I don't think we have anyone completely new to DnD or TTRPG's. For timing, we're looking at something in the evening during the week EST, or on a weekend. I've got a hard stop at 10pm any night due to work. Tuesdays and Fridays are taken but as of now the other nights are open. Sessions lasting around 2-3 hours, meeting on a weekly basis. If you are interested and think you might be a good fit please direct message me and I can invite you to the discord and we can go from there! Thanks!
