Current party level : 8 (group experience leveling) Party composition : Artificer (Alchemist), Shaman (Enhancement), Revised Ranger (Beast Conclave), Sorcerer (Conjuration), Paladin (Glory) Allowed sources : all published books+UA mostly allowed, some homebrew too if well made and fits the world (no DnDwiki) Stats : Point buy DM : My name is Ivan, 27 y.o., I have been DMing for about 2 years, still fairly new. What I like about DMing and DnD: 1. Designing encounters (what happens, abilities of monsters) 2. Looking for pictures/concept art for exploration 3. Mass combat/wars with various types of units and terrain, setting objectives for players in those battles Campaign style : We have fair portion of combat and exploration, with some RP (if players engage). You wont find much intrigue and politics. Magic/technology : High magic, technomancy in some places (similar to Eberron) World : The world is inspired by World of Warcraft to some extent with 4 continents. This is 4th group (4th campaign) that had their adventures here, so the world is already fairly developed with pretty much all existing races (and some homebrew ones). Campaign originaly started from official Dark Sun desert setting in the world of Athas, later renamed to continent of Arthas. Original idea was to create world of elements, with different parts of the world ruled by elemental leaders (desert, northern wasteland, jungle, volcano islands).&nbsp; Most common races : Humans (including Halflings): Least magical race. They got their territory by conquering lands/forests from goblinoids. Currently half of humans is serving under fallen archangel (Blood Angel, they are hemomancers) and other half are followers of holy Archangels. Elves: There is many kinds of elves. Sun (High) Elves are paladins of Al'ar (phoenix god, the sun), Moon (Wood) Elves are rangers following Elune (moon), both subraces work together. Sand Elves live in the desert and are very sadistic enslaving people with sand constructs. Dark Elves came from Shadowfel, use shadow magic and do not follow spiders. Snow Elves live in the north and make things from true ice. Avariel live in flying city of mages and are rare in the world. Sea Elves live with tritons under the sea. Shadar Kai are humans from Shadowfel. Dwarves: Most of them live in the north in mountain fortress Fadena, their leader is Moradin and they paladins are called Mountainguards (they use lightning hammers). Some dwarves ride gryphons using thunderous throwing hammers. Dark Dwarves (duergar) live in volcanic islands and mine dark iron. Orcs: Smarter than DnD ones, living in the mountains, forming clans. Some of them follow the fire god Embrax, some of them ride wyverns through the skies and some build catapults and siege towers from wood and mined iron. Gnomes: High steampunk technology, currently live with dwarves in Fadena or with humans, making warforged and other creations. Goblins: Some of them are savages that live in the forests, but a huge portion of them are smart. They make explosives, mechs and ride airships. Werecreatures: Allies of elves. Their leader is an ultimate shifter, her favourite form is bear with wings. Weretigers are royal guards, werebears are druids, wererats are thieves, wereboars are farmers and common folk, werewolves and werespiders are hunters. The curse is not contagious (requires a ritual to become one of them). All other races are less common but still present, beside Gith (instead I am using Ethereals - beings made of magic traveling through Astral Sea and cosmos). Current overarching story : Elder Elementals imprisoned in their elemental planes are waking up and their forces entering the material plane to bring the world once again into elemental chaos. It is up to the heroes to stop them.
