[LFG] New player seeking cyberpunk setting (Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk Red)

I'm looking to join a cyberpunk-themed campaign using a system like Shadowrun or Cyberpunk 2020/Red. It's been 10+ years since I played a TTRPG and I want to get back into it, whether for a full campaign or just a one-off like running through the Cyberpunk Red jumpstart kit. I'm GMT timezone but given my current work from home situation, it's not a dealbreaker if a time difference makes it a late night, especially on weekends. So, if you're looking for a player, hit me up. And while it's not my first choice, even if you're not running one of the games I've mentioned above, I might still be interested - I've got some past experience with Call of Cthulhu and D&D, and Forged in the Dark-style games sound cool.

Have ya had any luck finding any Cyberpunk groups yet? I've been trying as well and it seems to be quiet right now with that particular system :(

I'm new to some TTRPG's played a little D&D back in the day but I'm very interested and excited in playing the cyberpunk TTRPG either 2020 or RED. I have the pdf files for 2020 and have the physical copy of Home of the Brave and the RED jumpstart kit and have a basic understanding of the game rules  but always willing to learn more about the game if I'm missing or over looking something. Looking to play with a  new player friendly group who won't get mad or upset if something needs a quick explanation or if somethings not understood. 

Have been searching the depths of discord and reddit for such a campaign and/or group, to no avail thus far. I would be very inclined to join should you find or form a group! 

I'm running a near future GURPS game similar in theme with Shadowrun... Magic, psionics, trolls, orcs, elves, etc. Right now, it's a bit of a post apocalyptic theme since aliens duked it out in near orbit and some of their mana bombs missed and struck the planet, but the group is working on fixing the fabric between reality and magic. Hey folks, thanks for everyone who's showed interest so far either as other players or offering somewhat-related games. I don't think either game mentioned by Gregory B. FJR above is quite what I'm looking for, but maybe some other players in this thread are interested! Anyway - I'm still looking, and it sounds like there would be some other takers for cyberpunk games from the replies above, too.

Hey. So, I'm always up for trying to run a new system. Big Cyberpunk fan, so why not try to run a game of it? Don't get me wrong, it would be a complete learning experience for me, but I have run 5e for about 4 years now, as well as tried my hand at the Cybrex and Palladium systems, as well as a few others over the past 2 years.
