all the characters on my server dissappeared, only the folders are left

So I host several games for a group of friends, we made different games for players based on availability, at one point we had to many character sheets so i made copies of my original server and divided up the characters folder based on who the server was for by deleting the unneeded copies. It seemed like it was working just fine but the original server glitched, now the server for the most players is missing all it's pcs and idk what to do.

Contacting Roll20 ( <a href="mailto:team@roll20.net" rel="nofollow">team@roll20.net</a> ) for a rollback would probably be the best course of action. I've never used it, but I believe you will need to give them a date to attempt to roll back to.

You might also want to try a&nbsp; Help Center Request . By "server" do you mean "game"? A problem on one game shouldn't affect any others, so it's good to be clear what the issue is when contacting the team.

yes i'm one of his players he means game we just call it a server.

Yeah I made this forum in the hopes of getting an admin's attention, i then found out my copies didn't have their characters either but i was able to fix those by setting the character template. I thought I could do this for the original campaign but it didn't work, I'll try Oosh's link.

Ah yes. Got it. When creating a new game, you need to select a character sheet. It will not default to the same one the original campaign used. You should be able to set that on the new games and have the characters show up.

so i emailed the staff, an admin contacted me, she rolled it back to the day before i lost the data, it's all good now
