After about a month of downtime in Waterdeep everyone was invited to the Palace of Waterdeep, where they met with major representatives for the Harpers , Order of the Gauntlet , Emerald Enclave , and the Lord’s Alliance . The group told this Council of Waterdeep the tale of their travels across Faerûn chasing the Cult of the Dragon. A Harper named Naivara Amastacia was called in to reveal what she discovered in the book recovered from the Red Wizards of Thay on Skyreach castle. This book collaborated the Cult’s goal of summoning Tiamat. A noblewoman named Dala Silmerhelve was then called in to share what she knew of an ancient relic called the Draakhorn, which she said was the cause of the weird feeling no-one can place, and warned that it is calling out clearly to dragons across Faerûn for unknown purposes. The group was charged with finding the relic and/or the wizard with the most knowledge of it, both of which were last known to be in the Sea of Moving Ice. This wizard, Maccath the Crimson , was also a mage of the Hosttower mages guild in the port city of Luskan. Naivara was asked by the Harpers to accompany the group on their behalf, and the Emerald Enclave also sent one of their own to join the group - a tressym named Furgus Feonix XIV . The entire group was booked passage on a longship called The Frostskimmr , which took two days to get ready. After introductions this new party prepared for their journey. They arrived to the Frostskimmr after two days passed and are on board as it prepares to leave Waterdeep... At game start it is 26 Marpenoff in the Year of the Warrior Princess, 1489 DR.
