Trying to DM

I would like to run a game but setting it up seems like a lot of work so I wanted to buy a package like: https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/161/white-plume-mountain-tales-from-the-yawning-portal if i buy this package will it come with all the info I need to run the game i.e. info for npc, monsters, maps, tokens. will it have all the info to run the game? or do i need to buy the book to run a game
It comes with basic info and all the tokens and maps set up. Highly recommend Sunless Citadel for first time DM, or the module Lost Mine of Phandelver.
I downloaded a module, and started looking at it, but I can't seem to figure out what loot drops in what room/corpse. physical books I have owned for adventure paths (pathfinder) tells me which room has which loot.
That info would be found under the Journal tab in the right menu. That’s where all the info from the book is listed (broken out into categories.)
I have looked through the journal, it shows maps, random encounter tables, but not what each room has in terms of loot or any discriptions of the rooms
Which module is it? Perhaps someone who owns the same one can give you some info...
a bit more details needed I think, i am a free member of roll20 and first time to buy a module instead of making it up. so atm the only thing own is the Against the Giants module, do I need anything else to run it properly?
I loaded up the module. If I click on “Locations on the Upper...”, for instance, it gives me the map and all room descriptions...
OMG i saw those maps but i didnt try scrolling down, thanks for your assistance =D one last thing is that a way to roll damage by clicking on the tokens, i assume i need to buy some books DMG or?
Morize said: is that a way to roll damage by clicking on the tokens, i assume i need to buy some books DMG or? You roll damage by clicking on the NPC/monster listed to bring up the character sheet for them, and then you click on the weapon they're using to see if they hit. The result will appear in the chat box. Once you've ascertained that they've hit (if two boxes come up you use the left box first unless they're at advantage/disadvantage in which case you use the highest or lowest score) then you click on the description below the result to get the damage. This assumes you're using D&D5e. I think it must be similar in Pathfinder. It's a little different if you're using the AD&D2e character sheet, but you'd realise that because it doesn't include monsters and you'd be building your own adventure.
