Hi folks! I'm my friends' DM, but I've been itching to step back into the player's seat again! I've played a couple of RPG sessions over the years and right now I am my current group's resident DM. I would love to roleplay a player character once more! I can do Tues-Thurs, and my preferred time is 6PM - 12:30AM PST. Monday might be possible, but I would have to reschedule the campaign I am currently DMIng on Monday nights. Primarily focused on a roleplay-leaning group where everything is done in the framework of "character-based" decision making. I want to further improve my roleplaying skills as a PC such as dialogue that fits my character's internal logic and personality. I enjoy groups that put a lot of energy into carving out a story unique to their group and aren't afraid of needing to leverage the "rule of cool" when needed. I'm not a rule stickler myself and really enjoy it when a party is just happy the story along. The things I do not enjoy are metagaming, assholes, and elitists. Know that if you're considering me for your group, I prioritize patience and commitment. I get that D&D, though a fantastic hobby, is one that requires everyone to be committed to the game, and you can be assured that I will commit to the group (assuming we are a great fit that is)! I'm also very patient and understand that we may come across rule snafus or that real-life obligations may get in the way occasionally. After all, we're all here to have fun, and it's lucky enough we're able to find like-minded people who love this game so much to meet up regularly for it! In terms of characters and playstyles, I enjoy playing the Chaotic Neutral self-indulgent type. For me, it would typically be a bard, rogue, monk, or sorcerer that fits that role best. Though they are self-indulgent to an extent, they are still a team player. Their main motivations are fueled by treasure, fun, or simple companionship in a vast, dangerous world. I'm more than happy to play a role or character that still fits the current campaign.
