Played when I was a kid like 35 years ago :-) I’m in my 40s. Got back into the game a couple of months ago. I DM casually
for a couple of family members and I joined an online group about 5 weeks back
but it didn’t really work out. I’m not that good with the rules yet and I’m looking for a group
that is noob-friendly and maybe a little on the forgiving side to newer players. I’m probably more into the character
development/story/role-playing side of the game as opposed to the combat although
I certainly enjoy some combat. I’m on the East Coast and my preferred nights are probably
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with Saturdays also being a possibility, either
in the morning, during the day, or in the evening. I don’t work because of a
disability and I do have some flexibility and availability for other times
depending upon things. I’m probably not looking to play more than once per week
right now. I’m looking to play D&D 5E. I’m interested in either
pre-made campaigns on existing worlds or in DM-created content, perhaps in a DM-created
world. I think I prefer a LOTR/GoT-type of world, meaning one where
magic is present but perhaps not everywhere all the time and all-powerful, and
I’m probably not that big on things like demonry, the gods or things taking
place on other planes. I think I like my D&D a little more grounded – like
I said, something that could take place in a world similar to LOTR or GoT. I’m intelligent, personable and I have a good sense of
humor. I’m open minded and good with people of all backgrounds. Thank you,
Tom
