Hello and thanks for stopping by my thread! So where to begin? Lets start off with history and why I want to get into dnd 5e! I have previous histories in playing multiple RPGs on console and pc! I've played WoW,FF14,diablo 2-3,Elder scrolls, and a little of SWToR. I love RPGs with a passion, and have heard about DnD for sometime. I have heard so many interesting and fun things about this game that it began to stoke my curiosity. So i began to do some research, I began to watch streams on twitch and youtube. I began to see how much fun and interaction people had with one another! The connections and friendship's. The style and complexity of the game, the learning curve, it all appeals to me. Which now has led to this post, I have begun to read the players handbook. I have knowledge in character creating and that's about as far as I have gotten. I desperately want to get into a game to gain further experience and connections! I am a fast learner, I am enthusiastic, and very open minded and patient. I will gladly play free or pay to play! I do prefer pay to play, as i feel i would get a better experience. A little about me: - I'm 30 years old, work full time as a retail stock and options trader. So my work is primarily mornings. from 6am-12pm PST. - I'm looking for afternoon games, any day. Preferably anytime after 2 - I have a discord all ready to go - I have characters all ready and set but will gladly change those characters to fit the group if needed. -Like I said I am patient and understanding, I'm super flexible and willing to give anything a try once! I am hoping my group will be the same in return. Once again, thank you for taking the time to read this post! I know there was a lot written and I hope I provided enough information! If not, I'll gladly answer any more questions all of you have! I am excited and cant wait to get started!
Pay to play doesn't always mean experienced... I wouldn't advertise that sentiment... most of us long term GMs don't charge and do a terrific job :) But if it makes you feel better to pay me go ahead! :) It is free and 5E, We are every other Sunday 12pm - 6pm MDT I partner with another GM who runs the opposite weekends, he may want more too so opportunity to join a game Every Sunday 12-6pm but we are requiring a commitment, we are a long standing group of players. I just finished an all homebrew 3.5 version of Game of Thrones that lasted over a year and a half. Now we are moving on to 5E Tales of the Yawning Portal I will loosely use those modules to develop my own story-line. We have been together for over 5 yrs together. Please tell me more about yourself and the kind of commitment you can make. Thanks! Game starts today... apply fast!
I'm starting up two new games that might interest you. My Tuesday afternoom game is just starting up and runs from 1:00 - 4:00 PST. It has 4 players and we're running a modified Tomb of Annihiliation game that just started off. I also am starting a new Friday game because I concluded my previous Friday night campaign that ran over a full year! I haven't committed to any module just yet for that Friday game, but I'm looking for interested players. Feel free to message me if interested About me-- I'm a pay-to-play DM, but my guarantee is to provide you with a knowledgeable DM who has played for over 10 years who uses music and sound effects / spell sounds to amplify the scenes that we create together in D&D! You can check out some recent recordings from one of my one shots here on youtube (the footage is from playing on Tabletop Simulator on Steam rather than roll20, but I'm experienced with both platforms): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZDDduVEst2SpVhqbtOP0hA
