Every night she would stand in her family's farm and gaze at them, imagining what they could be. Were they giant fireflies making their way through the heavens? Great floating cities? People staring back down at her? One night she decided to build a ladder to the stars. For a hundred years she built and climbed. Her parents grew old and she climbed, her live stock grew frail and she climbed, the land around her changed and she climbed. On her death bed she rested on the top of her ladder, able to see all of the lights of exandria below her, but too weak to look up and see the stars she loved so dearly. She did not go unnoticed, however. In her last moments a shooting star blazed through the sky and stopped in space, inches from her face. They say she climbed back down the next day, looking 20 again. She burned the tower and never looked skyward again. - An old Tal'Dorei folk tale Seeing Double is a campaign that I've written in the world of Exandria. Ever since a meteor shower a few months ago there have been reports of people acting strangely. It's different in every case, some more kind, some more cruel. You have been hired to investigate the small town of Ralesh. Reports have come in that a town has stopped paying their taxes. Investigators sent before you have not returned, you are to infiltrate the village and discover the whereabouts of the investigator and tax collector. About Me I'm an actor, improviser, and writer that has been running RPGs for 14 years. The most important thing to me is making it feel like your choices matter. Good or bad, I want you to feel like you affect the world in a real way so you can in turn be affected by it. I like to make NPCs feel like real people, even if we never see them again. I like combat to feel dangerous and exciting. You can reach me directly through pm or discord. My discord handle is AdamH#4112. I'm looking for 3 more people, then we can go ahead and start.
