Hi all, my name is Mercy and I live in London, UK. I'm a new player to D&D, I have a campaign on at the moment where we meet up face-to-face once a week, and it's a pretty casual, but role-play orientated campaign. Our DM is great, and he's pretty lenient on the general in-depth stuff campaigns usually have, so I kind of want to get into a slightly less casual campaign, but with still a great deal of role-playing. As I said, I'm still new to D&D, so I'm looking for smaller friendly groups, with a DM/GM that welcome us newbs. The campaign I'm currently in meet usually on Tuesday evenings, so that day isn't good, but apart from that, my evenings are usually free. I wouldn't mind a weekly or bi-monthly meet, and my timezone is GMT, so I'm roughly 5-6 hours ahead of those in the same timezone as New York, Maine, and other places on the East Coast. I'm usually a quiet person, especially when first starting to talk to people. I was the same with my rl campaign but I opened up a bit more. This would be the first time I would have actually used roll20's application to play D&D, so I'll have to get used to it and need a little guidance, but I do understand quite a bit of the basics of combat. (Maths isn't my strong point, though.) That said, my netbook isn't all that great, and I don't know how well roll20 would run, especially if we were using something like Skype's voice chat at the same time. If I've missed out any other information, please let me know, and I hope that someone is at least a little interested with playing with a newb with a rubbish computer.
