Undying Fantasy is a work-in-progress roleplaying game that is attempting to be as customizable as possible without having any one option be too broken. The idea of class and race only exist for flavor purposes, as any race can take any ability or stats with equal success, and anyone with any role in the party can take any ability as well. Instead of what a character can do being limited by their class or race, it is limited by how powerful each ability is. You could take a few powerful abilities, a lot of abilities that are less so, or somewhere in between. In addition to being a standard roleplaying game, Undying Fantasy also can serve as a competitive strategy game. In this form, players create a character or party of characters built for battle, and duke it out with another player. In this way, the game marries roleplaying game play with trading-card game strategy. I am currently looking for playtesters and maybe fellow designers to help make this RPG the most customizable tabletop game ever created. If you would like to help playtest this game, post a character idea in this forum. It can be as commonplace as a human fighter or as off-the-wall as a goblin healer who is also skilled with poison darts. As Undying Fantasy is not nearly finished, chances are I will need to design abilities to fill the gaps between what players want and what the game can do. If you would like to help design this game, no experience with game design is required. However, I ask that anyone who would like to help design at least has a basic grasp on English grammar, seeing as the game rules are text-based. If you're interested, post here and I will send you the link to the game's rules in a private message. Thanks in advance for your help!
