Questions before buying Curse of Strahd

I what to get CoS for 2 reasons. 1. To run, duh. 2. To have access to the Haunted One background  for one of my characters in a Homebrew game and to use it in the charactermancer So my questions are 1. When bought will i have access to the Haunted one background for my character in the charactermancer? 2. When bought will I be able to share it with my players(homebrew games included) through the compendium sharing feature?

Haunted One is not available in the Charactermancer. Curse of Strahd was converted for Roll20 before the Charactermancer existed, and is only available as a Handout, IIRC. This is true of several older modules.

Roll20 has said they want to go back and put older stuff into the Compendium and provide Charactermancer support, but no timeframe or ETA has been given.
