I'm trying to gift my DM a Roll20 Plus subscription for their birthday. They currently already have one, but it's set to expire on August 3rd. If I buy/gift it now, would they lose two weeks of subscription? Do I have to buy it the day before? Or would it just auto-renew with the purchase I made? Any advice appreciated.

It'll just add credit to their account, and use that to autorenew at the end of the current subscription. So you're fine, you can buy it whenever you need to.
