Starting up a new homebrew campaign in a custom world that features elements of other series like the Monster Hunter games. Looking for about 5 players that are 18+ to play on Discord for audio and using Roll20 for the character management, rolling, and occassional map and handouts. New players eager to learn are very much welcome. There is a bit of new stuff that I'm playtesting in this campaign setting but I will do my best to not throw too much of it at you at once, probably no more than one playtest thing per every few sessions or so. Also: I've been working with a couple friends on a revision for the Ranger that I was hoping to get some new eyes on. Let me know if you are interested in details on that, even if you aren't interested in joining the campaign, and definitely message me if you are interested in testing it AND joining the campaign to help test it. This has been a minor passion project for me as I thoroughly enjoy the idea of the Ranger class but am not as much a fan of how it plays out. Other Details: -Time: Sessions would probably start around 5-6pm CST, be no more than once a week, but the day is flexible and really determined by player consensus. -Restrictions: Very few, No Artificers for story reasons (If you are interested in Multiclassing into Artificer that can be allowed depending on your interactions in the campaign) and pretty much anything that is UA or from a sourcebook is allowed. Out of personal preference from previous experience, I don't stick too firmly to Alignment, but if you do want to hold yourself to one, i ask no Evil alignments. -Completely Free, no Pay to Play. -I ask for at least decent attendance. Try not to miss more than 2 sessions in a row as it just complicates keeping you up to date and informed but I can be flexible in that regard, life happens you know. -Decency: Let's try to keep things PG-13 to a soft-medium 'R' rating. Cursing is fine and there will be quite a bit of gruesome fantasy violence, but we don't need the explicit details of your lovemaking habits. -RP: As much or as little as you personally want. I find getting yourself into and acting the part of your character helps the fun, but you won't be forced to do voices or act in character all the time. -Starting Level 3, 4d6 drop lowest for stats with rerolling 1s, and you can reroll 1 of those scores once. Pretty much all races are allowed. -If you have personal homebrew you want to bring in, I ask you give me heads up and let me look it over and we'll bring it into a hopefully balanced point to include it. -The campaign world is very much Work-In-Progress, as such, you will have some bearing and could very well be a great help in shaping out some of the details I have been stuck on.
