Paladin Leveling up, Forced to select 3 spells...expecting to see the full list of spells but don't.

Game is 5e, using the charactermancer, i own the PHB and have shared it the game in question.  Upon using the charactermancer to level up the Paladin from 1 to 2, myself upon testing it and my player are presented with a list of their first level spells and then are directed to select 3. Then the character sheet only shows those 3 spells and i/we do not see the expected full list of spells, where we expect to be able to select/ready upon long rests.  (i have another game, where i am seeing this work correctly, however the character sheet for that paladin seems like it's in a different mode, like a charactermancer mode).  i presume we're missing something, thanks for any help.  In short: I would expect to see all of the Paladins known spells in a list, opposed to only a few...

It is intentional to not load every spell possible on the sheet.  It exponentially increases the attributes and sheetworker script activity (the bad side of automation), can cause your sheet to lag badly, and (if multiple sheets are loaded with all spells) cause slow down of an entire game.  It is intended that you just have on your sheet what you expect to use.  You can drag/drop other spells from the compendium as needed.  And delete unused spells from your sheet when you find you aren't using them. Edit: Unless you mean that you expect to see more spells to choose from within the charactermancer.  That is determined by what books you own on Roll20 or are owned and shared by the game creator.  Otherwise, all that is available is SRD content.
