Hey all. Covid and work schedule changes have thrown my regular RPG games into disarray so I'm looking to start a new project. I've always been fond of the FFG Star Wars RPG and I'm looking for some dedicated players! The When: Every/Every other Saturday from 8pm EST to 12am EST The Where: Roll20 and a Discord Server(Voice only, no video) The What: A Clone Wars era game where the players consist of a Jedi Knight, their Padawan, and three or four Clone Troopers(and/or maybe a Republic diplomat) The Story: Will follow the exploits of the 123rd Legion, a disgraced Legion following a horrendous defeat that left the Legion's jedi general dead and the reputation of the One-Two-Threes in jeopardy. Now, thanks to the 'benevolence' of Chancellor Palpatine, the 123rd has been restored to just under half strength and put under the supervision of a Senate-appointed Republic Commander for the time being while it monitors several Jedi candidates for the esteemed job of General. The Who: You! As I said above, I'm looking for 5-6 players. One to play a Jedi Knight looking to prove themselves a worthy general, another their padawan, and then Clone Troopers + a Republic Diplomat(maybe) to fill in. The Catch: I would like the roles to be randomized. It is my preference that who plays be randomly determined so as to remove potential conflict about being able to throw a lightsaber or force powers around. The Game: I really like roleplaying and I really like combat. I'm not going to be favoring one aspect of the game over another, and if the mood of the night is, "That was a heavy session last time, I think we should all just sit and talk about it in character", I'm down. If people want to charge head on into a Seppy base, I'm ALSO down. I'm pretty much up for whatever. The Vibe: I'm not a huge fan of power-gamers or people that have a hard time getting along with others. This is a communal experience, so get ready to get real friendly. If you're going to out of character criticize someone else's actions, do it in-character instead or be friendly about it, not a dick. The GM: I'm pretty easy to get along with and I'm very understanding. I'm also very open, so this will be an LGBTQ+ friendly environment but also 18+. This will be a safe space for everyone(even if your character gets cut in half by something). Also, I LOVE Star Wars, have seen all the movies, watched all of Clone Wars(not Rebels/Resistance though) and I know a lot about the lore but I am in no ways an expert.
