Hi folks I used to run an rpg night in a local pub before the plague hit and have been trying to continue the games on here since the lockdown. Recently some of the players have informed me that they'll be moving house in the next few months so we've chosen to remain on this site rather than return to the pub. Becuase of this we've decided to look for a few more players to bulk out the group. We used to have 6 players, but only 2-3 can regularly make it currently, so we're looking for another 2-3. We usually run from 7 until 10 (UK time) on Thursday nights. This is a free game. We are currently playing a homebrew 5.0 dungeons and dragons campaign. The settling has a post-apocalyptic theme vaguely inspired by the video games Singing Force and Alisia Dragoon, along with a few old anime (although one of the players tell me it feels like Fallout with the nukes replaced with careless wizards). Players take the roles of wandering soldiers-of-fortune in a world trying to rebuild itself after a mage-war reshaped the surface of the planet. Characters are currently around the level 4 mark. We're a group that likes a mix of combat and non-combat gaming and are here for a bit of fun with friends as much as anything else. I feel I should warn you that we can be a bit house-rule-prone at times. The group, setting and playstyle aren't particularly edgy, but still not suitable for younger players. I've been gaming for over 30 years and have a fair bit of DMing experience, but I'm fairly new to Roll20 and am struggling a bit so player patience is a must :)
