As it is always quit tedious to communicate with single players of your party via chat (if they have an eye on the chat window at all) is it somehow possible to talk to only one player (muting the others)?
Ooh, I would like to know this too. This would be great - for scouting, sentient weapons, creatures talking telepathy etc etc. I see lots of uses for this.
Most people use discord for voice and roll 20 for vtt. If you use discord, you can either ask them to join you or drag them into a second voice channel. Say what you have to say and then put them back.
You have a few options within Roll20 to communicate with someone privately: /w playerorcharactername will send a message to just that player. The player and character name will tab complete. If you are using Roll20 voice chat (which has had a remarkable improvement since about 2 months ago), you can click the speech bubble icon to talk with just that player. Clicking the speech bubble icon for other players will bring them in on the whisper.
