This should be something fairly simple to implement into the existing game search filters. Perhaps an extra check box for "GM" Search, or at most, a different search section all together. Perhaps even a (block keyword) option, in addition to the existing Match Keyword option. When looking for a game to join, 7/10 posts are looking for a GM. This is not only non-conducive to actually finding a game to join, but it fills the existing search section with extra fluff. Ive asked many GMs and players about this, and its pretty standard for people to simply skip these posts completely. This is frustrating to both GMs and players. People who look at the "join game" page, (Note: NOT the sign up to GM page) are searching for a game to join, not a game to GM. Seeing countless posts begging for GMs is not only disheartening, but it sets a terrible precedent that "There are never enough GMs". Many of these posts also include stipulations that the GM "must" follow to be allowed to GM. This is simply unacceptable behavior, and more often than not, actually discourages potential GMs from pursuing that goal. While i more than understand the need for GMs, flooding the game search with these posts is a serious detriment to players trying to play, or more often, GMs trying to take a break from being GM. GMs work hard, we work a lot, many of us have jobs, families, ect. When we sit down trying to find a game to be a player, the very last thing we need is strangers begging us to GM for them. Even now, currently as im posting this, the bulk of the Join game page is actually posts begging for GMs, NOT people looking for players. So im presenting a simple idea to weed out the excess fluff from the Join Game page, there are many easy options to fix this issue.
