Explorer Mode Broken?

I'm trying out the updated dynamic lighting feature since the recent update. In the old system, with advanced fog of war you could have previously explored areas greyed out, indicating the players have been there before. It says the Explorer Mode is this, but when I reveal the map with a token, it does not remember what has been revealed. What am I doing wrong?
Wow. Nevermind. Turns out, you cannot "check" this while as a GM using Ctrl+L. I rejoined as a player and it worked fine.

Ctrl-L is primarily for checking Line of Sight. You've hit upon the proper way to test. You can check even better by using a  Dummy Account .
Hey, that's an excellent idea! Just to confirm, the remembered map is per player, correct? That is limited by who can control which token?
Ok I just confirmed that it indeed is. The reason I ask is because the token I setup to test with revealed as intended, but then I removed the token and reset the map. After reloading, I could still see the areas I had tested.
I want to add here that my number one issue with this initially is that i was using a token not controlled by a player to check my setup.  If the the token is not controlled by a player explorer mode will not show as the GM with Ctrl+L.  When you make a test token to check remember to give control of the token to all players!  Then Ctrl+L will work as you expect. Happy lighting!
