I've been creating puzzles for RPGs for years. And I've always wanted to do one that is all about the elements. But I never found the right format until now.So I'm really pleased to finally create a series of elemental puzzles where the rules and the concept of using elements fit seamlessly. So why elements? Elements are everywhere in your campaign world. From shooting fireballs to summoning elementals to visiting the elemental planes. You can always draw on elements in your game. And they are also wonderfully distinctive. Thinking of a firemage, windfinder or earth-druid immediately conjures up strong images. Elements are also rich in real word history. It's amazing how many different cultures around the world have lore about the elements to draw from. You could create an entire campaign setting just around the elements and their lore. Or just a puzzle pack. So check out elemental puzzles here! Elemental Puzzles: 30 puzzles for your game

mouth begins to water... Game Master's brain starts melting... Thanks Paul! Looks great. On point for my "Elemental Evil" / Tower Descent, mash-up campaign (AD&D 2E on here). I will try to give more thoughtful responsive feedback-review after actually trying it. The nature of online gaming group, it will take a while (weeks) to play around to using parts of this. Having used some of Paul's puzzle products in the past, I can say with confidence this will be a fun & functional part of upcoming gameplay. Looking forward to elements of trickery and puzzlement on the inner planes

Sure, I playtest everything with my players and adjust stuff based on their feedback. And I also have a friend who just likes solving puzzles. He checks my final version for mistakes. I'm very lucky to get so much help.

This is fantastic. One of my favorite things is introducing riddles and puzzles in-game. This is going to be an awesome addition to my collection!

Dear Paul, Are the 30 puzzle-board/maps ranked from Easiest to Hardest (so Puzzle 1 is the best starting point), or are they roughly equal in difficulty?  I understand the overall puzzle pack is meant to be NOT-too-hard. Just wondering, if we only set out to do 1 or 2 puzzles from this, should we do #1 and #2, or just any random ones?

Hi Gold, The puzzles are roughly equal in difficulty. You can play them in any order you like. Beginners might have more difficulty with puzzles that have more clues in the border, because you need to use all the clues before you can solve the centre. - If your players find the puzzles too easy, you could turn on dynamic lighting and give them a very small radius they can view. That way, they won't see the whole puzzle at once. (haven't tested that). - If the puzzles are too difficult - which they shouldn't be - you can just lay in an extra clue in the border or cross out a couple of wrong answers in the centre. Happy gaming!

Ok, brilliant. Got it. Me and my-group, we need maximum clues, minimum trip-ups. We are dense and slow. So I won't be doing the Dynamic Lighting challenge, I will do the opposite and look for the Puzzles that has the fewest edge-symbol clues or at least not a plethora.
