Passive Intelligence (Investigation)

I took the feat Observant and thus get a bonus to both passive perception and passive investigation. However, only passive perception shows up on my character sheet. How do I add the bonus to passive investigation? Both my DM and I would prefer if passive investigation would show up on my character sheet, so that we do not have to remember it. Thank you.

You could add it to whichever section you want - probably throwing it in Features & Traits under the Observant feat would make sense. If you would like it to update properly as your character levels up, you can add it as an Attribute: passive_investigation 10+@{investigation_bonus}+5 If your DM wants to know everyone's scores, they can do something like this: &{template:default} {{ player1=Wisdom: passive_wisdom} Insight: insight_bonus} Investigation: investigation_bonus}}} {{ player2=Wisdom: passive_wisdom} Insight: insight_bonus} Investigation: investigation_bonus}}} {{ player3=Wisdom: passive_wisdom} Insight: insight_bonus} Investigation: investigation_bonus}}} Replacing "player1" and so forth with actual character names of the party. Don't forget to change your character's entry to investigation_bonus} +5 I honestly didn't even know passive investigation was a thing.
Thank you for your help with trying to figure this out. If I may ask a follow-up questions, as this is the first time I am using Roll20. Where exactly would i add these lines of code? Information that I maybe should have provided is that we are using what I think may be the standard DnD 5e character sheet, where everything seems to be hard coded. For reference, this is what my character sheet looks like. Currently only Passive Perception shows up on the bottom left. Would be great if something like Passive Intelligence also appeared. Ill also chat with my DM to see how they do the necessary checks (i feel like they are not running code and just looking at the character sheets themselves, but i could be wrong) Thank you again for your patience in helping this newbie figure this out!
On the cog tab scroll down to the bottom till you see  Then add your bonus from the feat there.

Unfortunately, as far as i can tell, that only modifies the passive perception (WIS). I need to modify both passive perception (WIS) and passive investigation (INT)
As Oosh said, the best place for that is the Features and Trait's section of the character sheet.   Investigation.  When you look around for clues and  make deductions based on those clues , you make an Intelligence (Investigation) check.  Perception.  Your Wisdom (Perception) check lets you  spot, hear, or otherwise detect the presence of something . Passively making deductions seems rare at best.  But the feat does give it to you, so you have to put it somewhere.

To add the Attribute, right at the top of the sheet are the Bio & Info / Character Sheet / Attributes & Abilities tabs. Click the Attributes & Abilities, and the left column has the Attributes where you can modify existing ones or add your own. There is no way to get these to display on the sheet with the other Attributes without creating a custom sheet, which is advanced stuff requiring a Pro subscription. So the only way to display it is via a macro. If the DM is not using macros, there's probably not much point in adding the custom Attribute, as they'll have no way of seeing it. Manually reading it from the Features & Traits section is probably easiest - the DM will have to do all the legwork in making this at all useful, and even then it is very unlikely to come up often. Perhaps your Passive Perception alerts you to the faint smell of cardamom when you talk to a "friendly" NPC, and the DM tells you, due to your Passive Investigation, that you remember seeing jars of cooking spices at the last bandit camp you were at (despite the fact that you never actively searched for any)?
Wonderful -- thank you for all your help, advice and knowledge Oosh and Patrick. This new player very much appreciates it! Ended up adding it to the Features and Traits on my character sheet. Having a super high passive perception has definitely saved the party's butts already -- ill be curious to see how a high passive investigation will come into play, though my DM promises it will :D Also, i love the possible use of passive investigation that you gave Oosh. It is really clever!
