I've been using TokenMod to create a spell token for my players for their magical area effects through a roll-table token. But I grow weary of always having to right click and press "to back" when my players create their spell token. Is there a way to make the macro (or otherwise some smart solution) so that when the token is spawned on the map, it is always set as if “to back” has been pressed? The shortest of my Spell Token macros look like this. So if any of you know how to force it "to back", that would be lovely <3 token-mod {{   --set     ?{Choose Form|Magic,currentside#1 represents#@{Spell Token3|character_id} width#[[70]] height#[[70]]       |Darkness,currentside#2 represents#@{Spell Token3|character_id} width#[[6*70]] height#[[6*70]]       |Fireball,currentside#3 represents#@{Spell Token3|character_id} width#[[8*70]] height#[[8*70]]     }     bar1_link|None bar3_link|hp     bar2_link|ac     name|"Spell Token"     showname|no }}

Try: token-mod {{ --set ?{Choose Form|Magic,currentside#1 represents#@{Spell Token3|character_id} width#[[70]] height#[[70]] |Darkness,currentside#2 represents#@{Spell Token3|character_id} width#[[6*70]] height#[[6*70]] |Fireball,currentside#3 represents#@{Spell Token3|character_id} width#[[8*70]] height#[[8*70]] } bar1_link|None bar3_link|hp bar2_link|ac name|"Spell Token" showname|no --order back }}

Here's an example of something like this in action, with a video .
That worked like a charm! Thansk alot! :D How do you find those commands mate? Yeah i've been looking at that some time ago. Some day i will update my spell tokens to that so i can get sound FX into the spells :) keithcurtis said: Here's an example of something like this in action, with a video .

I couldn't find anything with my meak google skills xD I have a slight advantage having written it... =D There is an extensive help handout that TokenMod creates which has all of the options in it, but it's not always the easiest thing to find stuff in.  The --set/--on/--off/--flip arguments set properties on the token directly.  The other options have to do with more meta-settings and functionality:  --order/--move   Probably asking on the forum is the easiest way to find the answer if it isn't immediately apparent from reading the help.
Haha yeah, some might call that a slight advantage xD Yeah, i've been looking through it. But i must say that i'm not the sharpest tool in the kit when i comes to macros and scripting. So i think you're very right in the best solution for me would be asking in the forum. And again thanks for the fast reply man! The Aaron said: René R. said: That worked like a charm! Rene, here's a shameless plug for a script I just wrote that might save you some clicks and/or tab selections when using this technique, and gives some additional options ;) <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9046603/anybody-wanna-beta-test-a-default-token-spawning-script-with-toys" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9046603/anybody-wanna-beta-test-a-default-token-spawning-script-with-toys</a>
