Was wondering if anyone could help me find some maps

My main game I'm running is a superhero modern game and just between you (probably being my players when they notice this) and me, I'm having trouble finding some certain maps that can be used for a more modern game.  A stone floor and wooden tables may not seem quite so realistic for a bar in a modern city and a straw bed may not make as much sense for a hotel to have.  Usually the only maps I can find are more middle ages because that's the usual style of play.  I was just wondering if anyone had any maps they could lend me that would be a good over view for more modern things.  Specifically hotel sets might be nice.
Let's see... <a href="http://rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&amp;g2_itemId=7" rel="nofollow">http://rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&amp;g2_itemId=7</a> Has modern maps. If you want objects: <a href="http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=14" rel="nofollow">http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=14</a> <a href="http://rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&amp;g2_itemId=1437" rel="nofollow">http://rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&amp;g2_itemId=1437</a> Be sure to dig through RPGMapshare for more stuff too. &nbsp; They've got tons of objects, characters, and already made maps. This link might be handy for finding more sites:&nbsp; <a href="http://rpgvirtualtabletop.wikidot.com/maps" rel="nofollow">http://rpgvirtualtabletop.wikidot.com/maps</a> A few for d20 Modern: <a href="http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20modern/article/20030619a" rel="nofollow">http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20modern/article/20030619a</a> Not a map exactly, but a floorplan for a spa retreat: <a href="http://www.rpgbooster.com/inspiration-mountain-retreat-for-villainpresidentplayers/" rel="nofollow">http://www.rpgbooster.com/inspiration-mountain-retreat-for-villainpresidentplayers/</a>

I got to say i like that rpgmapshare webpage. just wish they had a search function.

If you go to the menu and mouse over "gallery" the last thing on the dropdown list is "gallery search." &nbsp; It's a little counterintuitive &nbsp;since most websites of that type have a nice little search bar somewhere easily accessible. &nbsp; But it works and there's an advanced search to narrow things down a bit. &nbsp; It doesn't seem to let you target specific galleries, though you can probably use some keywords to get what you want more easily.
David - I've been using the Sims 3 to make modern-day maps for one of my campaign. &nbsp;Right now, I just have a Sheriff's Department office, a few houses, a small store and I'm working on a dive bar. &nbsp; If this is something you're interested in, I can upload the maps to my Google Drive. What sort of locations are you looking for? &nbsp;I'm starting a Shadowrun campaign soon and will have to expand my maps to seedy motels, warehouses, laboratories, etc. &nbsp;I don't have anything in this vein ready to go, however.

I know I'm picky, sorry. Sadly, artists tend to receive very little feedback on the forums when they open up threads for suggestions, :-/ However, if you want to detail some of the modern era map assets you'd like to see provided here on the Roll20 marketplace, I'm willing to listen and consider them for potential future projects. I know you mentioned an interest in Hotels. &nbsp;I am personally considering expanding my Motel Madness pack (<a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/97/wrights-motel-madness" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/97/wrights-motel-madness</a>) to have a Hotel variant, but community interest so far has been relatively low compared to other products.
Well my whole concern is having more generic rooms that can be filled with extremely common items.&nbsp; You know a carpeted room with a table and some platters or something for a dining room.&nbsp; But what I'm looking for at the moment was stuff for a nice hotel.&nbsp; A furnished bar that isn't stone ground and goblins, but more of the everyday lounge you see in some hotels.&nbsp; A bar counter top, booth seats, maybe even a karoke machine, just generic every day stuff.&nbsp; The hotel rooms to have those normal premade stuffy looking beds, a t.v, but set up in a style so it looks like it's cleaner then that of a motel :3.&nbsp; I did look at the motel madness pack, but it seemed a bit less grand then a hotel, probably because my mind percieves the rooms to be the size of motel rooms, but not large enough to be hotel rooms.&nbsp; Again the hotel, I wanted a type of lobby, so the general objects for that would be differently colored&nbsp;floor areas, random potted plants, chairs, a lamp maybe.&nbsp; I could actually construct most of this stuff with the roll20 map packs, but I'd have to buy several and pick and choose from them which is something I'd rather not do if there were a better alternative to.&nbsp; And in my own personal taste for the hotel I'm making, I wanted to have the players see that the hotel owners office might be overflowing with papers or perhaps some 'bloody' little secret, which is something I could do on my own if there were other tiles for me to draw upon, but this rant ends with me going back to me having not found any modern rooms.&nbsp; The only rooms I can find are that of stone and not tile :c. &nbsp; My actual concern for a map pack would just be some 500 set thing labeled as "Modern Room Maker", just several wall tiles and floor tiles that players can make at will and several sets of furniture and smaller objects like a banana or some generic looking iPod thrown about.&nbsp; I say 500 because there are a lot of generic things that can be made that wouldn't take too long to make like a letter is just a white rectangle with some black lines, a stamp if you're feeling saucy.&nbsp; This set would probably cost a lot though :X. &nbsp; So I'm picky and people probably don't want this anyways. &nbsp; @Dave I actually have some bright looking streets myself, if you want you can throw a 30% opacity black screen over them or something and have it look more dark and sinister for your shadow run game.&nbsp; I might want the store if you're willing to give me that&nbsp;:x

Thanks, I requested the access o3o
Crap! &nbsp;Try again, I just redid the permissions.

If I get around to it I'll take those things in to consideration. &nbsp;Perhaps I'll do a Room Builder set that'll be to the Motel and Hotels what the Cubefarm Builder was to the Office packs.
Once I'm done with my current list of requests (27 items still on it, six maps) I could get on this (making a few hotel rooms or similar I mean, not 500 modern items), if you'd like. Might take a while mind you, and I'd need you to write down some detailed specs for what you want and PM them to me.
Right, I was just saying 500 because so many of them would just be recolored versions.&nbsp; I mean we can easily have 100 different kinds of floors and walls that can be made to make many different styles of rooms.
Well, give me an example of a texture you want and what colour sets you'd like to have available and I'll see what I can do. Once I get there anyways. Sound ok?
Perhaps a somewhat rough, red square that can be made to resemble carpeting.&nbsp; /shrugs. What I'm trying to express is that we should have some sort of modern pack with lots of basic things in it that can be used to actually make rooms (for example, similar to that of the cubicle packs, but with interchangeable floor tiling)
Ok. Carpeting with four colour schemes added to the list. I'll get back to you once I've gotten there. As for packs, well, you'll have to talk to someone who makes packs for the marketplace. I only do free stuff, and only the things I feel like making. :)
Even a basic room builder would be great to have, so thanks a lot.
Well, like I said, if you want a kit, write up the specs for it and I'll put it on the list. I'm not the only one who works on it after all, so it might go faster that way. It would require you to actually give me a detailed list though. The specific things you want.
Different Color Schemes of various floor tiles Brick Wall/ Dry Wall A modern looking wooden door (those things with knobs and paint as opposed to ye olde slab of wood) Stair Case of some sort Glass Table / Wooden Table Couch / Chair/ Office Chair Television Set / Computer/ Radio /Pile of books Potted Plants/Lamps/ etc With those things I can actually make tons of different rooms varying from motels to hotels to actual peoples rooms.
Ok, added carpeting, office chairs, modern staircase, modern doors, couch and glass table to the list. You can see the public one here Public Material On the note of brickworks, I just made a few textures of that actually. Check them out and tell me if you want other styles or some other variation. (like, say, brick walls that could just be placed or something)
I hate to beat a dead horse, but did you look through the rpgmapshare.com links listed up thread? &nbsp; There's hundreds of miscellaneous objects like what you're asking for. It's not going to be perfect because you'll have to rescale each object, but since the devs have sorted out the Z-layer issues you no longer have to worry about re-ordering dozens of objects.

Yes there were several that I liked in there that I wouldn't mind using, but still lacking in some rooms :s @ Asaram I'll use these, thank you.
You're welcome. Give me a poke if you want any that are slightly (or very) different. I've got all the parts of the texture saved :)
@David C Alright, there, carpeting and tiles all done, six colours for the first, two for the second. Both available through the aforementioned link :) Will give another shout when any of your others request get finished.
Alright, thanks
Glass table all done, found under objects :) This is what it looks like.
Neat o3o
Hope that's an ok version. Only took fifteen minutes :) If you want/need any changes (or other types of tables) feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do.
